Easter. Really.

Yes, it is out of order, but you were warned.  Easter this year was, as always, filled with activities and eggs.

We participated in our church's Eggstravanza again, where the kids got to make lots of fun crafts.

 Grammie was on baby duty.

We even spotted the Easter bunny.

There were eggs aplenty for the choosing.

More than plenty for those in the last heat of hunters.  See, Kim, there are advantages to being fashionably late.

Emery also had her class Easter party.

The Frog Class with their communal egg basket.

Then we went to the Rowdy Rebels egg hunt.
More fun!

The highlight was duck/duck/goose with cascarones (confetti filled eggs for the yanks that pop by Planet Bowling).  It was a delightful mess and most of the siblings took the opportunity to break an egg on their sibling's head when it was their turn.

On Easter day, the kids were once again denied their chocolate bunnies until Mommy got her pictures in.  Some things will remain tradition.

 These kids are pretty awesome.

The whole family.

After nap, we headed to Grammie and Papa's, where the kids got to enjoy (you guessed it!) another egg hunt.  I want to know when the adults get to have an egg hunt.  Billy and I are totally on board with it, but I still get a head start because he is older.  Maybe next year?

Grammie and Nell, who looks like she could enjoy a nap. Nell, that is, although after a few hours with our craziness, we wouldn't hold it against Grammie either.

The whole crew.  That blond kid ruined every cute picture with a different goofy face.  Rather than spend the next hour fixing in in photoshop, I'm going to let that be a testament to his attitude at times. Truth in blogging.  You're welcome.
