Fall Happenings

Alastair at his school's Fall Festival

For everything NOT happening on the baby front these days, we're doing plenty to enjoy a few days of cooler weather. It seems hard to believe that we are almost in November and are just getting a break from the 90's and 95%+ humidity that we've had lots of lately. As a woman at the very end of her ninth month of pregnancy, I am not amused but the lingering sauna. This morning it was near 60 degrees and it is heaven!

In the last few weeks, we have been enjoying lots of festivals and craft/quilt fairs. Yesterday, we went to the pumpkin patch and to a small craft fair at Alastair's school.

Peek-a-boo (or "let me know when you're done")

We didn't have anyone around to take a family picture of all of us. Who knows? Maybe we'll go back in a week or so as a foursome!

It was hard convincing Alastair that the objective was not to fill the entire wagon with pumpkins. He is such a lover of wagons (or anything else with wheels).
