Blindsided by Apathy

I have been a woman of action all summer long, checking off items on one list or another with maniacal fervor. I made it through the planning and execution of Alastair's party with almost military precision. And then, out of nowhere, I was blindsided by apathy. It couldn't have come at a worse time: knee deep in laundry, my small digital camera and favorite necklace MIA... This week we have had dentist appointments, vet appointments, swimming lessons, and a sewing project that has monopolized all my energy, leaving little left for nonessential tasks. Dinner? Essential. Blog? Hmm...
