Emery gets the spotlight. Again.

It is catch up, catch up here at Planet Bowling as I work to process the hundreds of photos I took in October. This series is from Emery's birthday week, taken at a sweet little bridge in our neighborhood.

Some birthday stats: Emery weighs in at just over 18 pounds and 28" long. According to her doctor, she is "perfectly petite." This is not the first time Dr. Bootin has used the word "perfect" in describing our daughter. Clearly, she is a smart woman.

Emery is a curious, happy little person. She only gets upset when someone outside of our immediate family tries to hold her or if her big brother takes her toys away from her. Sadly, that happens a lot.

We are working to figure out some allergy issues with our little squirrel. Soon she'll have her very own allergist.

Emery is a cruising madwoman. She can do "no hands" long enough to clap for herself and can stand up, squat, and stand back up without holding on to anything. Despite that, she has no interest in walking or in taking a step on her own at this point.

It's probably safer to stay closer to the floor in this crazy house.
