Leftover Easter Candy...

Easter this year was reminiscent of New England and unlike the Texas spring we were expecting. SO glad I spent all that time finding Alastair just the right outfit for Easter! At the church nursery, they called him their "little lumberjack." This adorable outfit (provided by "auntie Kay") was not what I picked out for Easter, but we weren't going to freeze the poor man for fashion. There will be plenty of time for that later! But wait: he isn't a girl, so perhaps comfort will always come first. Sigh.

Saturday was raining and in the low 40's and Easter itself made it into the low 50's. Today we are back in the 80's. Go figure.

The following pictures were taken in the two weeks leading up to Easter, but by the time Alastair is 30, and I'm 30 years older, we'll forget these weren't the day itself...

From left, clockwise:

Alastair at the Mustang Easter party (with bunnies!)...

And modeling his new fab seersucker romper, which will be his "fancy" outfit for the summer.

And at the Green Trails Easter Picnic and with the man/bunny himself...

Alastair found three books in his Easter basket, two designed to withstand the rigors of an infant's mouth... Both Mommy and Daddy have generously taken it upon ourselves to take care of the candy Alastair can't eat this year... Next week: jogging!
